PHILOSOPHY
At the core of my approach to healing, I value the understanding that we all hold within us the power & potential to heal ourselves. It is my belief that those in the role of the “healer” are simply here to create a safe container, where the inherent healing mechanisms of each individual are able to come online and activate internal processes that lead to true, lasting, and integral healing.
It is incredibly important to me, perhaps more than anything else, that individuals feel safe to unfold into the deeper layers of their own healing process. My intention is to create a container where you are able to actualize and empower yourself through this process of healing, with gentleness and courage. I am there to be a helpful mirror along the path. It is the honor of a lifetime to witness & share in the process of healing with others. Deepest bow to the journey.
Healing is an act of radical self-empowerment, a reclamation of our own agency and wisdom. It is both deeply personal, and simultaneously much larger than us. Our own Healing has the power & potential to ripple into ancestry, as well as into the world around us. Our life is interconnected to so much around us — to community, family, and lineage.
I do not have anything to offer that is not already within you. Yes, I have studied various frameworks to understand how the internal healing mechanisms of the human mind & body works, yet my role is to allow those frameworks to be the bumpers upon your lane of experience. Your healing process is your own, and we walk together through that journey. Side by side. My hope is to be a safe ally along the path of self-empowerment through the healing process.

THE ALTAR
The Altar is the space where the Sacred meets the Earthly. Where the Four Directions meet at the center, a mirror for the Heart. Together, we gather at The Altar to commune with our ancestors, to offer prayers of healing for humanity, ourselves, and each other. It is the space where we reignite the flame of belonging, and are reminded of our path & purpose on this good Earth.
The Altar is the Center. Across nearly all ancestral ceremonial traditions, the Altar is the space where the community engages with the Sacred, to offer prayers for healing. Where the ears of our Ancestors can hear us more closely, where we can be supported by the more-than-human world. It is the anchor of our attention, our devotional practices, and a sanctuary for collective healing.
The name of this practice is an Ode to that Ancestral birthright, and an invitation to reclaim this life as the true Ceremony. When we engage in healing work, we are engaging directly with the ancestral legacies that are carried in our own bodies. Our healing is their healing. May we have the courage to honor the path of healing with utmost respect for ourselves, the Earth, the Ancestors, and one other.

MYTHOLOGICAL SIGNIFICANCE
Beneath the tail of Scorpius, sits a constellation of stars called ‘Ara’. In latin, this translates to ‘Altar’. This cluster of glimmering energy beneath the stinger of the Scorpion’s tail holds deep mythological significance for the history of Gods & Stars.
This Altar is the place where Zues calls council with his fellow Gods, to take vows before entering into divine war with the Titans. This is a space where the fates wove the destiny of the sacred, where the vows taken became spells that were cast through the mouths of the Divine. As the Gods each made their offerings at The Altar, they embraced their fate with full agency, whatever the outcome. In partnership with the sacred, they defeated the Titans – their vows casting a ripple of connectivity into Life on Earth. In the name of protecting the Sacred, we are a mirror of the skies.
