A Ceremony to Honor the Four Blood Lineages.
A Celebration of Life.
The practice of Ancestral Tending is as old as our Ancestors themselves, yet has been unfortunately lost to time in many cultures. Ancestral Reverence & Rituals have been practiced across most earth-based cultures, as a way of both acknowledging & honoring our own lives as a continuation of our people’s. This tending cultivates a strength of connection that becomes a deep resource, and allows for the support of our Ancestors to shape our everyday life.
This Ancestral Prayer Ceremony is one of the many forms an honoring ritual can take, by way of Celtic traditions & Fire Prayer ceremonies of Mayan lineage. The intention of this Ceremony is to honor the four blood lineages to each cardinal direction, offering prayers for healing to the bloodline. Medicines are offered to each of the four directions, to pray for the Emotional, Mental, Spiritual, and Physical healing of the lineages.
In this space, we acknowledge the burdens of each lineage, and pray for the healing needed to transform the burdens into blessings. We also celebrate the very much alive & well blessings that each lineage has passed down, as a way to honor the shared Ancestral gifts.
There is time for story telling, song, and any other form of honoring that feels nourishing. These Ceremonies can be shared in group space, or individually in 1:1 space between Teagan and the participant. This can be a beautiful space to share to honor the death or birthday of an Ancestor, or significant life milestones that you’d like to invite your Ancestors to support more closely — such as weddings, the birth of a child, or the death of a loved one.
The ceremony itself is uniquely attuned to you, and your relationship with your people. Whatever elements feel appropriate to involve within the container are most welcome. A personal Ancestral Altar will be created to honor the moment. Teagan will contact you for a consult call to discuss details & specifics of the ceremony beforehand!
This Ceremony is a beautiful option to integrate Ancestral Lineage Healing work, or as an additional element to incorporate as the final stage of the Ancestral Healing Journey.
