I have had the absolute honor of witnessing many students grow in their study of Astrology through the Altar of Stars Live Group Mentorship program. As they complete One Full Year of Mentorship and beyond, these individuals are well prepared to begin reading charts for others.
The list of Alumni below are each entirely unique, brilliant individuals that have moved through over a full year of rigorous study in Live Mentorship. Each of them carry stunning gifts & specializations that they have discovered through their own devotion to this work.
I recommend them with full faith in their knowledge, attunement, and commitment to being a careful steward of this craft. Our Live Mentorship curriculum prepares Alumni to translate the complexities of an Astrological chart with an awareness of the cultural + personal healing layers involved in each individuals unique, lived experience. This is the essence of trauma-informed care; tending the threads of culture, identity, and healing.
ALUMNI READINGS
Teagan West
Teagan West (she/they) is a Ritualist, Astrologer, Writer & Drum Maker from Hodinöhsö:ni Land, home of the Seneca Nation. Her people are Irish, Syrian, Lebanese and Anishinaabeg. Through embodied relationship to Land + Sky, her work centers the restoration of Animist Lifeways as a form of Cultural Repair.
Teagan weaves together threads of Astrological Storytelling, Land Reconnection, Ancestral Healing and Community Ritual as a tapestry of culture work + animist remembrance. She leads Rochester’s Ecstatic Dance group, along with community ritual gatherings.
Ashley Waverley
Ashley is a ritualist and writer who helps you feel less alone, lost, and broken through connection with your ancestors and soul. She supports individuals in building relationships with the seen and unseen. Her work centers adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, walking alongside them through the stabilization, healing, and integration of these experiences. At the core, she changes peoples hearts and minds by sharing what has changed hers. Her ancestors are from France, Germany, Italy, Poland, and Scotland. Ashley lives on Mohegan land in Connecticut, USA.

Shimon Wolff (they/he)
Simon Wolff (they/he) is a queer Jewish politicized healer and ritualist, stewarding one-to-one and group somatic and ancestral healing for the sake of collective liberation. They have the honor of offering radical care to queer and trans folx, people living with disability, neurodivergence, and/or chronic illness, and fellow care workers and activists.
Nicole Casteel (she/her)
Nicole Casteel is a classically trained vocalist, transformational guide, and medicine musician. She now helps women reconnect with their bodies, intuition, and inner knowing through sound ceremonies, breathwork, and one-on-one healing sessions.

Each year, the sun returns to the exact degree it was at when we were born. This is our birthday, the Solar Return.
In this moment, the planets are all arranged in a new placement, offering us what can be considered the “birth chart of our year”. These new placements give us particular insight as to which areas of our life will be activated over the course of the next year.
The Solar Return offers stunningly accurate perspectives as to what themes will be predominant until our next birthday, and what we’re meant to move through & learn from over the course of the year.
We also incorporate Annual Profections, examining the planet that rules over your year to come. Teagan provides ritual suggestions to develop ongoing relationship with this Planetary Elder as a guide + ally on your path for the year ahead.
